Five elementary classes share $2800 in KidStart Mini Grants! The WindsorEssex Community Foundation has awarded the first five KidStart Mini Grants totaling $2800.

KidStart is a special granting program which is offered in partnership with our local school boards. KidStart provides grants of $250-$500 to elementary school classrooms so they can undertake a special project.

Here's what the student had to say about some of their projects... "Even though we are young, we can do things to help others." "If we do these things they woud be so happy that someone remembered them." "When we fill someone's bucket, our buckets get filled too. It can make people feel like they want to fill a bucket too!"
