The WindsorEssex Community Foundation has set aside November 4th, 2011 as Random Act of Kindness Day in Windsor-Essex! We will join residents in 24 communities across SouthWestern Ontario; to invest in each other and celebrate kindness. click here for more info!
Your community foundation supports non-profits in Windsor-Essex by networking partners and hosting events to increase the capacity of the sector.

The Canadian Environmental Grantmakers' Network (CEGN) is a membership group of private, community, public and corporate foundations, and government and corporate funding programs that give grants in support of the Canadian environment.
The Ontario Nonprofit Network (ONN) is a network of networks composed of public benefit organizations working for various causes across Ontario. ONN facilitates cross-sectoral collaboration on issues affecting our sector and helps increase our capacity to participate in public policy discussions so that we can move towards an environment able to support the changing needs of nonprofit organizations in Ontario and, by extension, the communities they serve.
The Foundation works alongside the United Way of Windsor-Essex to identify and target areas of greatest community need.
